Milene & Snowby

This story is about the companionship between a polar bear and his ward, Milene, who was loosely inspired by Claudia from Interview with a Vampire. She is a crippled child and walks on crutches when Snowby is not carrying her around. The characters were created so that they would have to rely on each other some way, one would not do without the other. Snowby needs Milene because he loves her and also because she is quite a smart child, and Milene needs Snowby because he helps her with her physical impairments (though she loves him too).
